Dr. Anca Jivan, D.D.S.
Dr. Anca Jivan practices general dentistry with an emphasis on preventive dentistry, comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including orthodontics. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Cluj-Napoca Romania, and she has more than 20 years of clinical experience.
She keeps abreast of the newest techniques and innovations in dentistry by attending continuing education courses and seminars at local and international levels. She is member of numerous associations including the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Associations and the International Association for Orthodontics, to name just a few.

I came to Canada with my family 17 years ago from Ukraine where I graduated from medical school as an obstetrician nurse. My professional training in Canada includes the International School –dental Assistant program and George Brown College for Dental Radiology. In 2000, I started to work at Dr. Jivan’s dental office as a full time Dental Assistant where the friendly atmosphere, amazing staff, cleanness and state of art equipment nurtured my love for dentistry.
Six years later I decided to become a Registered Dental Hygienist and studied at Kent Dental College. I was very happy when in May 2011 Dr. Jivan offered me a full-time position as a Dental Hygienist. I am always improving my skills and knowledge and take continue education courses each year in periodontics, dental lasers and Invisalign to name a few. In my personal life I love to travel, enjoy dancing and reading and lately I started to play tennis and do stretching exercise.
Cecilia | Certified Dental Assistant
Cecilia has more than 9 years experience as a certified dental assistant (level II), and is a highly skilled dental professional who possess a diverse set of knowledge. She enjoys working collaboratively with all members of the oral healthcare team. She will ensure that the office is a safe and healthy workplace.
Some of the things she likes to do on her free time are reading, listening to music, dancing and spending time with her dog.
